This training will help you learn about breast screening, how to talk about the importance of screening for breast cancer, and how community members can access breast screening.
It will provide you with tools, skills and resources to support Community, family members and Elders aged 40+ who are eligible for screening, to access breast screening and help keep Mob safe.

Duration
This training will take around 30 minutes to complete and can be completed at your own pace.
Access
You will have 60 days from the day you register to complete the training.
We’ll send you an email 7 days before your enrolment ends to remind you to complete any outstanding activities and download anything you’d like to keep, including your certificate.
If you haven’t completed the training within 60 days, you will be unenrolled and will no longer be able to access the training content. Please contact the Learning Hub team at learning@cancervic.org.au if you would like to extend your enrolment.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this training, you will have:
- increased knowledge of breast cancer and breast health
- increased confidence discussing the BreastScreen Victoria Program and eligibility
- increased confidence discussing what happens during a breast screen
- knowledge of where to find information about the BreastScreen Victoria Program
- access to resources to help promote breast screening within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
