Course Overview
Cancer Council Victoria’s Digital Skills Training has 3 levels. This course will take you through the Level 1 content, which is designed for all staff members and will cover the basics every new starter needs.
Course Duration
This course will take around 6–14 hours to complete and is designed for self-paced learning.
Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- use your work laptop confidently for everyday tasks
- set up and use your mobile phone for work
- create and manage strong passwords to keep your accounts secure
- understand the difference between the internet and intranet and know when to use each
- protect your privacy and stay safe online by following good cyber security habits
- set up your desk and equipment correctly when working in the office
- book and use meeting rooms
- use Microsoft Office programs to get work done efficiently
- save, name and organise your files so they’re easy to find and share
- understand the basics of AI and how it can help with your work
- use the Self-Service Portal (SSP) to find answers to simple payroll questions.
