The LGBTIQ+ program is designed to improve your understanding of the LGBTIQ+ community. It also provides tools to apply your knowledge to promote a fairer, more LGBTIQ+ inclusive society. We respect that all individuals will come to this course with varying degrees of understanding and knowledge already, including members of the LGBTIQ+ community who may have a more personal and intimate understanding of some topics covered in the course.
Please note:
A variety of initialisms are used to describe individuals with diverse or fluid sexual orientations or gender identities. In this course LGBTIQ+ is used in written copy, whilst LGBT is used in the video animations. When third-party research is quoted, we use the original source language. Check out the glossary if you want to learn more about the LGBTIQ+ alphabet. • Participants in the videos chose how they wanted to be labelled.
This course is made up of three modules and will take you approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete.
