This course explains your responsibilities and the things you should look for to ensure children are kept safe during every interaction they have with Cancer Council Victoria and its people.
By the end of this course, you will understand:
- The importance of ensuring a child safe culture is promoted and actioned at Cancer Council Victoria.
Forms of child abuse, and indicators. The basic legislation requirements regarding child safeguarding and your role within that.
How to recognise and respond to disclosures. The risks of not acting upon reasonable concerns regarding child safeguarding.
Cancer Council Victoria child safeguarding policies and procedures – including what to do if there is an incident.
This course takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, and is best viewed using Chrome or Firefox.
